James Knight is a cinematographer based in London and Amsterdam, working across short films and music videos. With a passion for striking, honest imagery, he brings a distinctive visual sensibility to every project — finding truth and emotion within the frame.

Drawing on years of experience as a Digital Imaging Technician, James brings a rare technical depth to his work behind the camera. His DIT credits include 28 Years Later (DP: Anthony Dod Mantle ASC BSC DFF), where he helped pioneer a colour workflow shot entirely on iPhone in collaboration with Apple; Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (DP: Alex Disenhof ASC); and Silo Season 3 (DP: JP Gossart AFS).
